Guidelines on the authorisation of initial margin models

  • Status: Under consultation

The Guidelines on the Initial Margin Model Authorisation (IMMA) set out the minimum amount of information and documentation to be provided by counterparties for their application to be considered complete. These minimum requirements build on the information that counterparties are asked to share with their competent authorities in accordance with the Annex to the No Action Letter on the application of EMIR, which was published by the EBA in December 2024 and which will cease to apply once these Guidelines are applied.
