EBA working group on APIs under PSD2

The working group on Application Programming Interfaces under PSD2 (WG-API) will be chaired by the EBA and composed of representatives from a variety of external stakeholders, which the EBA, the national authorities, the European Commission and the European Central Bank will consult to identify issues that emerge as the industry is preparing for the application date of the Regulatory Technical Standard (RTS) on strong customer authentication and common and secure communication under PSD2 (RTS on SCA&CSC). The external stakeholders in the group will be requested to propose solutions on how these issues could be resolved, which national authorities and the EBA can then consider. This page includes information on meetings and relevant EBA publications and is updated on a regular basis.

Meetings

The EBA WG-API will be meeting every four to six weeks, starting in February 2019, to discuss issues that emerge as the industry is preparing for the application date of the Regulatory Technical Standard (RTS) on strong customer authentication and common and secure communication under PSD2 (RTS on SCA&CSC).
