The Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) today publishes a consultation paper (CP26) on implementation guidelines, which focuses on three aspects of the revised large exposures regime (definition of ‘connected clients’, calculation of exposure values for schemes with exposure to underlying assets, reporting requirements). The consultation is open to all interested parties, including supervised institutions and other market participants until 11 September 2009.
Following its statement issued on 18 June 2010, CEBS provides further information on the EU-wide stress test exercise which is now being finalised by CEBS and the national supervisory authorities, in close cooperation with the ECB.
