On 22 October 2013, the European Banking Authority (EBA) will host a workshop on how the proportionality principle should be applied on the EBA regulatory work within the context of the CRR/CRDIV. The aim of this workshop is to bring together policy experts from the financial industry, the supervisory community, EU institutions and academia to help stimulate discussion around this key topic.

Risk parameters disclosure of EU banks (excel)
The European Banking Authority (EBA) launched today a consultation on draft Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) to specify the treatment of equity exposures under the internal ratings-based (IRB) approach. These RTS will be part of the Single Rulebook aimed at enhancing regulatory harmonisation in the banking sector in the European Union. The consultation runs until 7 July 2014.
