The Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) today starts a public consultation on its proposed amendments to the Guidelines on Common Reporting (COREP) which will run for three months and will end on 16 September 2010.
CEBS organised a two day policy-level conference as an opening event to the Eurosystem programme ‘Strengthening macro and micro-prudential supervision in EU candidate countries and potential candidate countries.
On 20 January 2010, CEBS provided answer to the EU Commission’s communication on an EU Framework for Cross-Border Crisis Management in the Banking Sector. The views expressed in this contribution cover the different areas contained in the communication issued by the Commission on 20 October 2009.
