Can You please explain, what is meant by "Those deposits shall be reported in two different rows depending on whether or not the entire amount of the deposit is covered (by a Deposit Guarantee Scheme or third country equivalent Deposit Guarantee Scheme)" described in COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2021/451, Annex XXV, part 2 (Outflows), rows 0240-0260.
Could you give an example?

How should be deposit amount be shown in report 73.00 (rows 0240-0260): deposit is non-operational deposit, maturity less than 30 days and amount 500 000 euros?
Deposit is covered by a Deposit Guarantee Scheme in amount of 100 000 euros.
Should it be divided:
r0240: 500 000 euros
r0250: 100 000 euros (as 100 000 euros is covered by deposit guarantee scheme)

This question has been rejected because it is considered that EBA guidance or clarification is not needed with regard to the issue that it raises. For example, this can be the case where it is considered that the existing regulatory framework is sufficiently clear and unambiguous, or where different practices may be possible but it is not currently necessary to harmonise these further through the Q&A process.
The Single Rule Book Q&A tool has been established to provide explanations and non-binding interpretations on questions relating to the practical application or implementation of the provisions of legislative acts referred to in Article 1(2) of the EBA’s founding Regulation, as well as associated delegated and implementing acts, and guidelines and recommendations, adopted under these legislative acts.
For further information on the purpose of this tool and on how to submit questions, please see “Additional background and guidance for asking questions”.
