CEBS has today published the final text of its Guidelines for the joint assessment of the elements covered by the supervisory review and evaluation process and joint decision regarding the capital adequacy of cross-border groups (GL 39).
Their publication is a further step towards greater disclosure of remuneration information, first proposed in the second amendment to the CRD (CRD III), which came into force on 1 January 2011.

The proposed Guidelines set out the process, criteria and minimum requirements for assessing the suitability of those persons.
The European Banking Authority (EBA) published today a discussion paper presenting its preliminary views on the application of prudent valuation requirements to all positions that are measured at fair value, as provided for under Articles 31 and 100 of the draft Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR).
