Question

Is it correct that validation rule v10817_m considers r0550, c0010 of template M 03.00?

Background on the question

Annex II, section 3.1, paragraph 21 stipulates that entities subject to Article 45 BRRD have to report at least the own funds and liabilities eligible for the purposes of internal MREL, as well as other bail-in-able liabilities.

In accordance with that guidance, we have reported the total amount of other bail-in-able liabilities and own funds and eligible liabilities for the purposes of internal MREL in column 0040 of template M 05.00. In column 0050, we have reported the excluded liabilities pursuant to Article 72a(2) CRR, as said in the guidance.

In our opinion, it is impossible that the sum of r0210, r0250 and r0550 of template M 03.00 is less than or equal to the total amount of column 0060 of template M 05.00. Indeed, in r0550 of template M 03.00, there is the total amount of other bail-inable liabilities represented that are partially excluded in column 0050 of template M 05.00.
