- Question
-
Where and when was the Comission Delegated Regulation (EU) supplementing Regulation (EU) 2022/2554 of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to regulatory technical standards to specify the elements which a financial entity needs to determine and assess when subcontracting ICT services supporting critical or important functions as mandated by Article 30(5) of Regulation (EU) 2022/2554 oficially published?
- Background on the question
-
Draft of Comission Delegated Regulation (EU) supplementing Regulation (EU) 2022/2554 of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to regulatory technical standards to specify the elements which a financial entity needs to determine and assess when subcontracting ICT services supporting critical or important functions as mandated by Article 30(5) of Regulation (EU) 2022/2554 was a part of the Final report on Draft Regulatory Technical Standards to specify the elements which a financial entity needs to determine and assess when subcontracting ICT services supporting critical or important functions as mandated by Article 30(5) of Regulation (EU) 2022/2554 (JC 2024 53, 26 July 2024) published on European Banking Authority webside. However the Comission Delegated Regulation is nowhere to be found, not even in the Register of delegated and implementing acts of European Union. In order to prepare documents for the DORA regulation, we need to know whether it has been published or whether it is in the process of adoption and where we can find it.

This question has been rejected because it is considered that EBA guidance or clarification is not needed with regard to the issue that it raises, as it is considered that the existing regulatory framework is sufficiently clear and unambiguous.
The Single Rule Book Q&A tool has been established to provide explanations and non-binding interpretations on questions relating to the practical application or implementation of the provisions of legislative acts referred to in Article 1(2) of the EBA’s founding Regulation, as well as associated delegated and implementing acts, and guidelines and recommendations, adopted under these legislative acts.
For further information on the purpose of this tool and on how to submit questions, please see “Additional background and guidance for asking questions”.
