Template 2 - Energy efficiency of the collateral without EPC label
- Question
-
Could you please clarify the objective of columns o and p in rows 5 and 10 as EPC label cannot be estimated and the total is already reported in column a?
- Background on the question
-
As specified in the instructions of Annex 2 of ITS on ESG Pillar 3, “when disclosing the EPC distribution of the collaterals, institutions shall disclose separately, in column o, those exposures for which they do not have the EPC information of the collateral, and in those cases where they do not have the EPC information but they are using internal calculations to estimate the energy efficiency of the collateral”. Besides, “they will indicate in rows 5 and 10 of the template the extent to which this data is estimated and not based on EPC labels”.
As for rows 5 and 10, column a. corresponds to the total of columns b to g, can you please explain the objective to report the same data in column o?
Can you please provide an example?
